Science Week 2017 is running from the 12th – 19th November and is a week-long programme of nationwide events celebrating the world of Science in Ireland. The aim of the week is to promote the potential that Science and discovery offer Ireland, today and in tomorrow’s world.
At LSC we are doing our part for Science week by holding a fun and interactive event which will allow children to explore Science and develop an understanding for the potential of Science as a subject choice!
As a company founded by and staffed with Scientists and Engineers LSC are excited to be hosting a Science fair in the heart of Kinsale. The fair is suited to children aged between 8 -12 (but must be accompanied by an adult). The doors will be open from 1-5 where children can visit a number of exploration tables and will be led through a number of Science activities. At 1.30, 2.30. 3.30 and 4.30 we’ll hold a “Seeing is Believing” Science show using everyday objects to demonstrate Scientific principal. There will be Hands on Science helpers there during the event to facilitate the workshop and ensure all have a great time.
Registration Is Free
The event is free and open to drop ins on the day but we encourage you to register to secure a space in advance to secure a space!
