Project Manager required by a multinational medical device company based in Cork. The Cork facility is a global centre for product development, manufacturing and supply chain. The product & process innovation centre on site is a global strategic investment based on the skills and capabilities of the Cork staff.
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
o Project planning, scheduling engineering activities and driving project meetings to achieve objectives.
o Regular reporting on the project status, performance and GMP/ financial risks.
o Identify appropriate resources required and escalate where necessary.
o Facilitate communication between all stakeholders.
o Facilitate DFM reviews with technical SME support to minimize lifecycle cost.
o Planning and execution of qualification and validation activities.
o Minimise Environmental and Health & Safety effects of your work.
o Adhere to the company’s procedures as detailed in the SOP manual.
o Support Regulatory Affairs with product submissions.
o All other duties as directed by direct manager.
The Project Manager will require:
o Third level degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production Engineering or similar discipline.
o Minimum 5 years in a project management capacity in a large-scale project.
o Certification from an accredited institution in Project/Program Management is a plus.
o Experience in regulated industry, FDA, ISO, etc.
