Maintenance Planner is required by a leading Global Pharmaceutical company based in Cork. Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Planner with responsibility for:
o Technically planning, scheduling and overseeing all aspects of maintenance activities within area of responsibility.
o The planner is responsible for controlling the maintenance work within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and insuring activities are carried out, recorded and ready for inspection by external and internal regulatory auditors at all times
In this role the new Maintenance Planner will:
o Troubleshoot maintenance issues within area of responsibility
o Planning and documenting how work is to be completed.
o Ensuring spare parts are available
o Co-ordinate the various crafts and vendors to perform the activities to the highest standard
o Ensure all preventive maintenance activities are completed as scheduled by the CMMS
o Ensure all work is documented appropriately
o Attend meetings to ensure maintenance activities are appropriately scheduled
o Be the technical adviser for area of responsibility and escalate issues appropriately
o Investigate failures and propose solutions to prevent reoccurrence
o Endure all work is completed in a safe and compliant manner.
o The role may from time to time require the planner to operate in an “offline” capacity working on maintenance business process improvements or monitoring
The Maintenance Planner requires:
o FETAC level 6 or equivalent in either an E&I or mechanical discipline
o Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
