Job Description

A Senior Process Engineer is required by a biopharmaceutical company in Dublin focused on serving patients with severe and ultra-rare disorders through the innovation, development and commercialization of life-transforming therapeutic products.

The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for:
o Design, specify, install, and validate equipment as required for the introduction of new processes and products into the existing Facility.
o Provide engineering technical oversight for drug substance unit operations during commissioning and qualification, tech transfer and process validation batch manufacture.
o Review and approve all vendor and internal design and testing documentation according to the required engineering and GMP standards.
o Responsible for engineering change management (ECM) and also GMP change control as relevant in terms of changes to the validated state of equipment to enable new products to be manufactured
o Input into automation change packs.
o In conjunction with the automation lead, manage the process input to the design of Delta V software changes and new automation as required for each new product.

The Senior Process Engineer will require:
o BEng or MEng in process or mechanical engineering.
o Typically 5+ years of experience in the design, installation and validation of process equipment within a biopharmaceutical large scale manufacturing plant with experience of managing third party engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) companies and equipment suppliers in the design and acceptance testing of bespoke manufacturing equipment.
o Experience is essential in a highly automated process environment using a DCS platform, preferably with Delta V experience.
