Facilities Readiness Engineer

Job Description

Facilities Readiness Engineer is required for a leading medical device company based in Limerick. The companies FDA regulated Limerick facility has grown consistently over the last 20 years to become one of the most important sites in its global operations. This facility specialises in the production of disposable contact lenses in a state of the art operation which includes injection moulding, robotics, vision systems and sterilisation systems in a Class 100,000 cleanroom environment.

The Facilities Readiness Engineer will be responsible for:
o Update existing Facilities Operating procedures to cover new equipment and buildings
o Identify and Order spare parts for New Facilities Projects
o Co-Ordinate and check hand-over documents from suppliers and contractors
o Co-Ordinate and check ‘As-Built drawings’ and insure handover to Facilities Department
o Co-Ordinate training of technicians, training files on new Facilities Equipment and systems
o Prepare PMs for new equipment and upload to Maximo.
o Assist with safety, commissioning and qualification documentation for new equipment and buildings

The Facilities Readiness Engineer requires:
o Third Level Degree is required
